The guys in Pearl Jam Tribute - Chicago surely felt the love vibe from the crowd gathered together at Slugger's in Wrigleyville last Friday night, seeing as we all sang our hearts out with them - during their sound check. When they kicked into their set, it was ALL ON. These guys are fantastic musicians and went above and beyond their call of duty by playing for an extra hour past their allotted time. There are few moments in our lives that are filled with love, laughter, camaraderie, excitement, and a sense of community; this was one of those moments. We all just rolled into town for a long weekend, and we were ready to go. A person out of the loop might have thought that actual Pearl Jam were playing in the back room if the crowd was anything to go by.
